Mr. Malik Sefrioui joined Ciments de l’Atlas and Ciments de l’Afrique as Vice-President in August 2014.

In his role, Mr. Malik Sefrioui is responsible for the governance of all activities across both entities, CIMAT and CIMAF, as well as the related executive responsibilities.

Mr. Malik Sefrioui is also an active member of the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers, serving as Vice-President. Additionally, he serves as a board member for around thirty companies within the Sefrioui Group.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College (2014).

Chief Executive Officer — Mr. Rachid Iben Khayat Zouggari, Chief Executive Officer of Ciments de l’Atlas, joined the group in 2007 as Deputy General Manager with a strategic mission for the company: the construction of two cement plants in Ben Ahmed and Béni Mellal.

In October 2010, he was appointed General Manager of the Addoha Group – Economic and Mid-Range Housing Division. However, his passion for the cement industry soon brought him back in 2013 to Ciments de l’Atlas as Chief Executive Officer and to Ciments de l’Afrique as Regional General Manager (Mauritania – Mali – Guinea-Bissau – France).

An industrial chemistry engineer with a specialized degree in energy management, Mr. Iben Khayat Zouggari began his career spending seven years as Head of Quality, Quarry, and Production Services within the international cement group Holcim, based in Morocco.

In 1996, he was promoted to Managing Director of Holcim’s ready-mix concrete subsidiary, before being appointed in 2000 as Director of Holcim’s Fez cement plant (for five years), and later of the Holcim Settat plant until 2007.

Mr. Iben Khayat Zouggari is also an active member of the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers, serving on its executive board.

In 2024, he was appointed Advisor to the President.

Since January 2025, Mr. Mohamed Naciri has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Ciments de l’Atlas (CIMAT), further strengthening a career distinguished by deep expertise and strategic vision within the CIMAT–CIMAF group.

He joined Ciments de l’Atlas in October 2008 as Operations Director before being appointed Deputy General Manager. In this role, he oversaw all industrial operations, including the Industrial Division, Procurement Department, Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials Division, as well as Export and Industrial Logistics. In 2017, he launched and led the CTS (CIMAT/CIMAF Technical Services) division — the group’s first technical expertise center — designed as a driving force for synergy and the harmonization of best practices across the organization.

In 2014, Mr. Naciri was appointed Regional General Manager of Ciments de l’Afrique, overseeing the group’s activities in Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Guinea-Conakry. In 2024, he transitioned to lead operations in France, Mauritania, and Senegal. Since 2014, he has also been responsible for the group’s Trading activities, playing a key role in developing commercial exchanges and supply chain strategies.

Before joining CIMAT, Mr. Naciri worked at Holcim Maroc from 1996 to 2008, where he successively held the positions of Maintenance Department Head, Production Department Head, and Plant Manager. He also deepened his expertise through a three-year experience at Holcim’s technical center in Holderbank, Switzerland.

In January 2008, Mr. Omar Ameziane Hassani joined Ciments de l’Atlas (CIMAT) as Administrative and Financial Director, where he notably led the preparation of CIMAT’s initial Business Plan and that of its subsidiary, Bétons et Granulats du Maroc. He also participated in negotiating various construction contracts for the two cement plants in Ben Ahmed and Béni Mellal.

Mr. Ameziane Hassani also established CIMAT’s key support functions, including general accounting, treasury, management control, sales administration and credit management, information systems, and human resources administration.

In addition to his administrative and financial duties within CIMAT, he has served since 2014 as Chief Administrative and Financial Officer of Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF).

Before joining CIMAT, Mr. Ameziane Hassani strengthened his expertise in the cement industry as Management Control Manager at Holcim Maroc, a position he held for seven years until July 2007.

Prior to that, he worked as Risk Management Director at CDG Développement, where he was responsible for establishing the company’s first risk management structure and developing the operational risk map for the holding and its subsidiaries — a mission he successfully accomplished.

Mr. Omar Ameziane Hassani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (1995) from the University of Fez and an MBA in Finance from Al Akhawayn University.

Mr. Hatim Khattabi joined Ciments de l’Atlas in July 2009 as Sales and Marketing Director. In this capacity, he led the commercial and marketing organization, encompassing the company’s sales, marketing, customer logistics, technical support, and specification functions.

At the launch of the CIMAT cement brand, his challenge was to introduce the company into a highly competitive market — a mission he successfully accomplished and has since sustained over time.

Since 2014, Mr. Khattabi has also held the position of Regional General Manager within Ciments de l’Afrique.

Before joining Ciments de l’Atlas, he served as Chairman of the Executive Board at Rimal, a subsidiary of the Drapor Group, until 2009.

However, it was at Holcim Maroc that Mr. Khattabi specialized in the cement industry, where he worked as Regional Sales Director. His responsibilities primarily involved developing and implementing sales budgets for his assigned regions, optimizing operational commercial performance, and ensuring the company’s long-term relationships within its commercial network.

Mr. Hatim Khattabi graduated in 1996 from the École Hassania des Travaux Publics in Casablanca with a degree in Civil Engineering. He later earned an International MBA from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris (2010) and a Master of Science in Strategic Management from the University of Derby, UK (2017).

Mr. Benbrahim currently serves as Regional General Manager for Zone 3 of the Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF) Group, a position he has held since 2022. In this role, he oversees operations in Gabon, Guinea-Conakry, and, since 2024, Ghana. His career within the CIMAT/CIMAF group reflects extensive experience and deep expertise in the cement industry.

He joined CIMAT in January 2009 as Project Manager for the construction of the Béni Mellal cement plant. After successfully completing this project, he was appointed Plant Director in October 2011, with the primary mission of commissioning the plant and optimizing its performance. In September 2014, he became Industrial Director, where he led several major initiatives, including the launch of the Operational Excellence Program, as well as sustainability and customer experience improvement projects across CIMAT sites.

In November 2017, Mr. Benbrahim took charge of CTS (CIMAT/CIMAF Technical Services), the group’s first technical expertise center, with a mission to support subsidiaries through technical assistance and performance enhancement. He continues to hold this responsibility to date. In parallel, he headed the Group Purchasing Department from 2014 to 2022, further strengthening his expertise in resource management and process optimization.

Before joining CIMAT/CIMAF, Mr. Benbrahim had already acquired solid experience in the cement and industrial sectors. From 2004 to 2008, he served as Head of the Maintenance Department at Ciments du Maroc Group. Prior to that, he worked at PHOSBOUCRAA (OCP Group) from 1997 to 2003 as Head of Equipment Services.

Academically, Mr. Benbrahim graduated from the École Mohammadia d’Ingénieurs (1996) and earned an MBA from the Institut Supérieur de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises (ISCAE) in 2015. His career reflects a strong combination of technical expertise, managerial acumen, and strategic leadership within an international context.

Since September 15, 2024, Mr. Temsamani has held the position of Regional General Manager for Zone 4, overseeing the group’s operations in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Mali.

Having joined the CIMAF Group in October 2012, Mr. Temsamani played a key role in the construction of the CIMAF plant in Douala, Cameroon. In 2014, he was appointed Project Manager in Ghana, where he successfully led the construction of the CIMAF Ghana plant. Upon its inauguration in 2016, he took charge of the subsidiary’s Technical Department.

In 2018, he was promoted to Managing Director in Burkina Faso. Under his leadership, the Group’s two subsidiaries in Burkina Faso (CIMAF BF and CIMAF Dioulasso) achieved significant growth, strengthening CIMAF’s position in the local market. Between 2021 and 2023, Mr. Temsamani also served as President of the Burkina Faso Cement Manufacturers Association (ACB).

In January 2023, he was appointed Managing Director of the Group’s subsidiaries in Côte d’Ivoire (CIMAF CI and CIMAF San Pedro), while continuing to oversee operations in Burkina Faso.

Before joining CIMAF, Mr. Temsamani began his career in 2003 in the metallurgical industry, before joining LAFARGE Ciments in Morocco in January 2007, where he held various positions as Project Engineer and later as Head of the Engineering Office within the Industrial Department.

Mr. Temsamani graduated in 2003 with a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the École Nationale de l’Industrie Minérale. He has spent the majority of his career in sub-Saharan Africa, developing extensive expertise in West African markets.
