Presentation

Established since 2017 in N’Djamena, in the Farcha industrial zone, CIMAF Chad actively contributes to the country’s industrialization and major projects through a modern grinding and packaging plant located in Lamadji. With an initial capacity of 500,000 tons per year, expandable to 1 million, this third-generation plant produces high-quality cement that meets international standards, thus ensuring Chad’s self-sufficiency in construction materials. CIMAF employs over 120 people, more than 98% of whom are local staff, with a strong focus on training and skills transfer.

Solar Energy: Towards Enhanced Autonomy and Controlled Costs

In 2025, the launch of an on-site photovoltaic system will allow the plant to overcome energy challenges by producing its own renewable electricity. This initiative will strengthen its electrical autonomy, reduce dependence on traditional grids, and help lower operating costs while limiting environmental impact.
