The Group CIMAT–CIMAF–VDE
The CIMAT–CIMAF–VDE Group is a major industrial player in the cement sector, established on three continents with an ambitious strategy for expansion and sustainable development. Drawing on its Moroccan expertise, the Group relies on its subsidiaries to meet the growing demand for construction materials while integrating technological innovation, operational excellence, and environmental and social responsibility.
Ciments de l’Atlas (CIMAT), the Group’s parent company, produces cement and ready-mix concrete in Morocco. Since its beginnings, CIMAT has been actively involved in the country's economic, social, and environmental development, ensuring the quality, industrial reliability, and sustainability of its operations.
In 2011, CIMAT created Ciments de l’Afrique (CIMAF) to support the development of African infrastructure. Today present in 12 countries, CIMAF embodies the Group's expansion in Africa through controlled growth, a strong social commitment, and environmentally friendly solutions.
Finally, in 2018, the Group completed its international presence with Vracs De l’Estuaire (VDE), a modern clinker grinding plant located in Le Havre, France. Thanks to its advanced technologies and strategic location, VDE illustrates the Group's capacity to combine industrial performance and environmental responsibility.
